Company’s Philosophy

It all started in 2013, when we found ourselves juggling busy schedules, joining bazaars, and participating in weekend markets in our second home – Bali. Captivated by the vibrant world of handmade treasures, we decided to pursue a path that allowed us to do what we truly loved. Our journey led us to work with several wholesale and retail companies, selling a wide range of beautiful handmade products—furniture, home decor, tableware, kitchenware, tribal goods, jewelry, fashion accessories, and apparel. It was a time of immense learning—not just about the products themselves, but about the very essence of the business. For nearly a decade, we immersed ourselves in this world, continuously growing and refining our expertise.

Then came 2020, a year that changed everything. The pandemic hit, and many businesses struggled to stay afloat, with some even forced to close their doors—including the last place where we worked. In the face of uncertainty, we were compelled to think differently and take bold action. We knew we had to find a way to survive, to adapt, and to continue moving forward.

As founders, we leaned on our deep knowledge of the Indonesian export market, along with our international marketing and export expertise, to meet the needs of wholesale and retail businesses around the world. With years of experience collaborating with clients, manufacturers, and companies across Asia Pacific, the US, Europe, and the Gulf, we were prepared to pivot. During the lockdown, we realized that social media was our lifeline. It became our primary means of reaching customers as physical events and markets were no longer an option. The shift to online platforms allowed us to promote and search customers, while also reaching new ones in ways we hadn’t imagined before.

What began as a mission to survive during an uncertain time soon transformed. As requests poured in from friends and clients, we realized our true calling: to not only help our business thrive but to also uplift local communities throughout Indonesia. We took it upon ourselves to offer sourcing services that would showcase their incredible craftsmanship to the world.

This journey, born from the desire to survive, evolved into a purpose-driven mission—to connect, support, and share the beauty of Indonesian handmade work with the world.
